I really love photography, and in my search for cool Russian Photographers, I came across Vitaly Raskalov and his group of photographers.  They have been making big news recently because they decided to make an illegal trip up the Great Pyramid of Giza after tourism hours were over to take photos.  They had to wait four hours after the area was closed to begin making their journey, and they had to avoid being spotted by the guards because climbing the pyramid is punishable by up to 2-3 years in jail.  The view they saw was so breathtaking they commented about it being one of the wonders of the world.  Their photos went viral recently which sparked an apology from them about climbing of the pyramid because they didn't intend for it to be disrespectful.  Currently, there is a division as to whether or not they will be punished because of the fact they did capture beautiful awe inspiring photos.  Below is a link to their live journal with the original documentation and photos from the expedition, as well as a link to a news article on their apology and endeavor!
