Monitoring all communication in Sochi

In February the Winter Olympics will be held in Sochi, and this past Sunday President Putin sent the Olympic flame to make it's journey around the country. When the Olympics finally arrive in Sochi the Russian Government will be monitoring all communication of players and spectators. The Russian security system will look through emails, web chats, and social media for sensitive words. The security system gets access to the WiFi and telephone in the Black Sea resort to ensure they get access to people's telephone and wireless data.

This security system can be compared to what the NSA in the United States has, but the Russian equivalent has permanent access to the information, where the United States' program was weaker and would overlook things. But the main purpose of the Russian security system is to identify people using the sensitive words, for example names of opposing politicians, and track what the people who used them do.
