Borei Class Submarine

The Borei class is Russia’s new class of nuclear-powered submarines. They can fire ballistic missiles and are able to carry up to 16 Bulava SLBMs. Each submarine in this class costs 23 billion Rubles, or 890 US dollars. They have a hull diameter of 42 feet and are 580 feet long. They are able to dive up to 1500 feet. They are also very capable at anti-submarine warfare, able to launch six torpedoes at ranges of 45 kilometers. They are Russia's response to the American Ohio class submarines.
