2) Work on this memrise list to prepare for the grammar quiz next week (Dative case)

3) Потом, Get a copy of today's lab handout. Возьмите хендаут!  

Here's what's on the handout. 

Диалоги: First, look at the "useful words" on your handout, and the pictures. What are you listening for? What items are pictured? Make sure you understand what each item means (детская куртка...). Now, read the 5 questions (a-e). Now....

Listen to the recording. Давайте послушаем! Let's give it a listen, at least three times. It's corny. There's a new mall! Let's find out what's inside! Listen to the recording. First time, just relax and listen for words you know. Second time, listen actively for the information sought and indicate where (what floor) each item at the top of handout is located. Third time, listen carefully and try to understand the recording, and jot down the answers for the questions a through e in the space provided on your handout. The whole thing should take NO MORE than 20 minutes. 

5) Грамматика Are you bored? Confused? Let's talk negatively! Let's deny things! Do the grammar tasks on your handout: First off, if you need some explanation (everyone does), here is a Power Point Presentation that explains how to express "negative possession" (I don't have a car!).

Now complete the other two assignments on your handout  (У меня был шарф! У меня нет шарфА).

2. Потом напишите  контрольную по словам =take your vocab quiz (20 мин)

 2. Прочитайте и ПЕРЕВЕДИТЕ(!) ☟⇩(10 мин)   download your worksheet. Read the dialogue Ответьте на вопросы письменно= Answer the questions in writing.

3. Сделайте упражнения на повторение дательного падежа, из vs. от (see your worksheet for the three grammar assignments)

First, do the memrise list to prepare for the vocab quiz. The vocab quiz is next week. Spend at least 10 min working on the list

Listen to the first three разговоры from Unit 8 

Разговоры: 1 2 3. Искусство, a word you hear in dialogue #2, means art!

Jot down the answers on the handout. 

Listen to each разговор at least once, but no more than 3 times. It should take you about TEN minutes. (Answer in English or Russian, in the margin... There's enough room...)

Let's do some possessing! Do all the tasks on your handout. (15 minutes)
