чебурашка is a funny little creature, unknown to science. He gets his name from a grocery store clerk who accidently gets him in his crate of oranges. чебурашка has a bear like body, with large round ears. He is mostly seen with his friend Crocodile Gena, who works in the zoo as a crocodile. Together they embark on many adventures which are made difficult by a mischievous old lady, Old Lady Shapoklyak (старуха шапокляк) and her prank playing ferret.
